in September, i ordered some bathing suit pieces from Delia's for my trip to Miami and when i finished my order, they asked me if i want a free subscription to NYLON magazine. I've always saw the magazine in stands and saw how cool the covers were. then 3 weeks later, 2 magazines arrived, the September 2009 issue with Anna Paquin and the October 2009 issue with Meagan Fox. once i flipped through the pages, i was in love!! every page fashion galore!! it was like heaven for me. as soon as the year is out I'm subscribing!! i haven't been this excited about a magazine in a long time!! In July of this year, i featured Whats Next?:Jungle Gym Magazine, a new online magazine about art music fashion and much more and i know you guess have been wondering, well when does it come out. I'm happy to let you know, the wait is almost over.

Your boys came together in conjunction wit Hennessy Black to promote their 1st event at the Black Ink Gallery to feature artwork by artist Anthony Horton.

no lil mama, that was soooo the wrong thing to do, im sorry. kanye wasnt feeling what Taylor Swift was saying. He went up on stage,spoke his mind and was it right..NO!!! so what made you think that it was ok for you to come on stage?

So i know a lot of people are going to hate me for this but i must brag about my wonderful findings. I am a SALE shopper!! I look for SALES, I live for SALES!! and this pass week I was fortunate enough to find one of my most immaculate finds of all!!!

Urban Outfitters in Brooklyn (Atlantic between Court and Clinton St's) i found a pair of Levi's for $5 and then went back and got a pair of BDG's for $5!! both fit so perfect!! that's amazing right? i love Urban for that because when they have SALES they have SALES!!!

I don't front about my clothes because I feel if you look and dress how you feel then you will be your fly'est. Creativity comes from with in and expressing it through the way you dress is the fly'est way to me. So whether it's $5 or $500..it doesn't make a difference to me :-)

Movie Review: Orphan

Ok guys though the commercial makes this movie look so cheesy and surreal, i by far recomend everyone to go see it!
From the opening scene you're going to be glued. The suspense is crazy and it will have you wondering the issue that this little girl has. Ester is her name and she one of the most interesting thriller characters that i have seen in a mintue. The entire time you want to know more about her and where she came from.
As the movie progresses she get crazier and her tactic become more and more insane. the little girl in the movie Max will have you in love with her.once you find out her issue you will be stunned!!! Just go see it its worth $12.50. Its definetly not your average thriller!!

Yesterday, June 25,2009, a day that devastated the music industry forever, Pop icon/legend Micheal Jackson passed away at the tender age of 50 from an apparent heart attack in his Los Angeles home.

I for one grew up listening to Micheal Jackson. He had a big impact on my love for music, art and creative vision. He was a creator, an innovator, a humanitarian and role model for many.

Though he had many ups, he had a lot of things bringing him down. He was called all types of names and accused of some terrible things but no one really know the truth behind his "madness". We all just knew that he was "Wacko". But was he really.

But it all remains that he was person. He had feelings and he loved the world. We all should celebrate the life and the music of this icon and not dwell on the negative. He did so many positive things for people that it would never amount to the negative things we "know" about him.

So to celebrate the music of a legend, here 5 things I think you should know (or seen) about the late the great...Micheal Jackson

So i went to the beyonce concert and it was amazing. i mean it was beyond amazing. i had such a good time. many people say that her concerts are all the same but I've seen the beyonce experience on dvd and this i am tour was just as amazing and so much different. the fact that she had two stages so she could really speak to the audience and let every one embrace her diva-ness was spectacular. i was in section 50 at the Garden. those were amazing seats especially because she performed on the small stage right in front of us. i am so happy that i got my beyonce experience and it wont be my last. she is a great performer and i enjoyed every last bit of it.

Tall, short ,Skinny thick.. women come in all shapes and sizes. some are a bit more appreciated than others, though everyone has there preference it seems that guys cant get enough of big booties.

i my self wasn't fortunate enough to carry ham hocks in the back of my pants and I'm not mad at it, but it does seem like guys have issue with girls who are less fortunate than others.

Our society has made us believe in the perfect life the perfect hair and the perfect body amongst others. i know females who soul goal in life it to have that "video vixen body".. and there are guys who would bash a girl til she is in tears that she has a flat ass... there are guys who would choose a girl with no moral just because her body is "banging". even everyones favorite rapper, Lil Wayne said" she's like a bitch with no ass, she ain't got shit." what does that really mean,since i have no ass i have nothing to live for? (Line from AMilli)

Personally, i don't understand the fixation with the bootylicious feens. its more to a girl than just her ass. i decided to ask a couple of guys that i know, all are from different age groups and different circle of friends and basically just ask why do they prefer...ass

Most of the answers were very similar: they like because it something to grab on, and it looks nice and when they have sex..you know, more cushion for the pushing. but most of the guys that i interviewed said that butt was preferred but not a must. it was only a plus ... they said they would like their girl to have a little something something and most said they would date a girl with none if they haven't already. So does that mean those with out it basically have to work twice as hard ?

Some guys even said they like it but that's not who they are dating or having sex with its whats in between the knees that holds the power. other just straight up said butt is not a plus its a must. smh..

All of this leads me to the main purpose of me writing this, ladies you must not worry about what a guy has to say. if he is gonna love u , your body shouldn't matter. we beat our selves up because of what society has imprinted in our brains.

The way women bodies are being exploited in videos and in magazines reminds me of Saartjie Baartman also known as Sarah Bartman. she was a Slave brought from south African to travel as a circus freak because of her bodacious body. these slave owners were freaked out, why is her butt and her boobs so big, why is she so big. they wanted the world to see this "freak of nature"

But she wasn't a freak. The slave holds treated her like a hoe..their European women didn't have curves. the wanted to so see how it felt to have sex with a women like, does that remind you of anything..isn't that how video girls are treated.. she caught all types of diseases because of that.

This was the body of our ancestors, this is the body that some African American women hold today. its a beautiful thing. Sarah died at age 25 from being tormented, locked up in cage, poked at and made fun of.. it disgusting how she was treated while living and even worse how she was treated once she passed.

They took her breast, and her butt and removed them from her corpse and put them on a display at a french museum as if it was an artifact. Fellas I'm not saying don't love and embrace a women's curve but treat it with respect. and for those women who have less curves treat her body with the same. Love you for who you are and others will treat you with the same love and respect. if u don't respect your self who else will. fellas just because a female doesn't respect herself, doesn't mean that u have the right to disrespect her, treat her like you would want some to treat your mom your sister, aunt, grandma even your daughter remember she will grow up into a woman.

NOOOO!!!.. ladies they stretch shoes for FREE!! the shoes in aldo are so cute but Ive always felt like i had to get 2 sizes up because they run so small.. i recently brought theses shoes,LACAU, for my 21st birthday party..fly as hell swagger right..but tight ass hell..

i thought if i wore them they would stretch.. i thought wrong. i definitely wore them majority of the night.. but there must be a way for my fat ass foot not to die because of no blood circulation to the foot ..lol.. i already brought a nine and 10 would be beyond big...

so i decide to ask them (2 months later) if they had something i can use to stretch them out she said all aldos do it for FREE as long as the shoes were purchase from there.. Perfect!!! Depending how stretched you want them, depends on how long they will stretch them..ok so they werent that tight so i stretched them for 30 mins, (i hope thats good enough) but i want to rock them this summer so i have to be comfortable.

so no more running from Aldo for me or maybe even for you!!! yay!!!

So im thinking about doing this..Who to watch thing.. where i jus look for random artist, who maybe signed and who may not.. so its only right to start off with a close friend of mine..Unique,

Born and raised in brooklyn, unique was destined to be a star..blah blah...lol

naw really hes a really cool dude with really nice vocals... he started off performing at sweet 16's and stuff.. now he hot stuff opening up for major artist like ciara and chris brown. he recently signed a deal with island Defjam where hes working on his debut album. i was luckyenought to hear a few tracks that might be on the ablum. so far Exciting,dope tracks up there. His first single is "Beat of My Drum" should be hiting the air ways soon.. so requested on your local radio stations.

He recently came to my school BAruch College to do an enterainment panel that i had to put together with my management group. He came to speak to my class about how he made it in the business and his struggles,We also had Lou Martini Jr. (Sopranos) come and talk about his rise to fame as well.

Lion, tigers and Raccoons?

So this weekend was memorial day weekend... a big weekend long celebration of our troops. but people use this weekend to enjoy beautiful beaches and bbq's..unfourntately me and my friends had none of the above..lol

so the weekend started out with me finishing up my finals..what a bore.. but i did fairly ok this sememester..so far.. anyway. on saturday we went to kevin's graduatuion party..(he graduated from VSU..WooHooo) after that we went to Meeka's birthday party...Sat was filled with free food and drinks.. a perfect day..

so sunday we decided to go to the 40oz bounce.. due to some circumstances..we never made it.. the directions on that flyer were horrible!!!.. we started off on 157 and broadway and ended up on 145 and broadway..how the hell u ask? beacuse we are some brooklyn girls..lol... but it was cool we met some random ass puerto rican dude who was tryna bag all of us...smh.. and then we met up with Belize the hype to head back to bk and called it a nite...

so memorial day is here and we're not at any bbq's ..not 1....zero...nada.... no one invited us no where..(i kno how uncool) so i went to habana outpost, got some corn, headed to beacons closet got 2 vintage bags, head to the block with 5 peanut chews and a bottle of Malibu.. so the nite was wining down and we(2020) became hungry..so the light bulb came and we decided to throw a BBQ..@ 8:30pm..better late than never i'll always say..lol

Vanessa's father jimmy trusted me with his car..since i do have my license, that i had since march and everyone acted like imma kill them if i drive,..but thats anther story.. so anyway i drove to pathmart got some hot dogs and burgers and fries.. took it to the block put it on the grill put on the gril, cranked some drake and started BBQing...

once 1am hit we was coolin out.. and all of a shudden we she a shadow of an animal that apears to be a baby bear..we looked it was a freaking RACCOOONNNN...wtf in bk? i mean i seen one before but it jus came as a shock to me beacause it was tight walking on the electrical wires in the backyard..

so random..we all ran inside and called it a nite...

Baruch's SPring Fling

So, every year my college has a spring fling the "first week" of May.. This year was the worst weather wise beacuse of the periodic rain we had.

i won a $5 starbucks card for eating 2 oreos faster than Assata and her friend Domo...damn i fat..but it was worth it!!!

Overrall I had a good time, Rapper Wale came out to perform as well as a group(sorry i forgot their names that quick) but they were good.

i had chance to jump double dutch...i havent done that in a min lol but again i had a decent time beside all the rain...and shout out to channel and mels for coming ultra late..lmao
